InspireIT's "Catch Them Young" Campaign kicks off in January 2015.

InspireIT's "Catch Them Young" Campaign kicks off on the 5th of January 2015.

 InspireIT's "Catch Them Young" campaign is geared towards getting young girls in Secondary Schools who are interested in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) sign up for the mentoring program. Mentoring our young girls at an early stage will help them to make the right choices as regards their career and have an idea of what to expect in the University.

The effects of stereotypes and discrimination, Queen Bee Effect and lack of female interest will be discussed.

Awareness for the campaign will be launched through digital media. InspireIT team will visit some secondary schools in Nigeria.

The campaign is a build-up to the Girls in ICT Day 2015 which will be celebrated on the 23rd of April 2015.
